Slate.com has an article about a book of pictures of the offices of psychoanalysts. The pictures were taken by an analyst who is also an accomplished photographer. He noted that the subjects were surprisingly willing to participate, and said, “… it’s also exciting to know that psychoanalysis itself is opening up. The idea that, as analyst, you could be an anonymous, blank screen is being recognized as a myth. Instead you’re seen as a real person with all of the characteristics that make you yourself.”
